Facebook Lead Ads Integration Tour

Facebook Lead Ads Integration Tour

⏱️ 3-5 min

Find the Facebook / Instagram card, the mapping link, and the three-dot menu, and know where your leads will land.

Where it lives

Four spots to know

Click Search at the top of your screen and type Integrations and open it. You can also find it in your menu, but menus can be renamed, so search is the sure way. Almost everything for Facebook leads starts on that screen.

Your control center

The Facebook / Instagram card shows a Connect button until you link a page. After you link one, it shows a Connected state, so you can see at a glance if leads are flowing.

  • Connect means nothing is linked yet
  • Connected means your page is linked

Facebook Form Field Mapping

Look at the very top of the Integrations screen. This link is where you tell your software which form question goes into which contact field.

  • Think of it as a translator
  • You set it up once per form

Card options

Click the three dots on the card. Look for options like Manage Pages, Troubleshoot, and Disconnect. Labels can vary, so read what you see on screen.

  • Manage Pages adds or removes pages
  • Troubleshoot helps when leads stop showing up
  • Do not click Disconnect unless you mean it

Where leads land

Every Facebook lead becomes a contact in your Contacts list, and you can see where each one came from.

  • Search for Contacts and open it
  • Look for the source information
After the lead lands

What you can do next

A lead in Contacts is only the start. These are the things you will build in later steps.

πŸ’¬

Text them fast

A workflow can send a text the moment a lead arrives.

πŸ””

Alert your team

Send a notification so someone knows a new lead is waiting.

πŸ“‹

Add to a pipeline

Drop each lead into a pipeline stage so nothing gets lost.

⚑ Tips

  • You do not need Zapier or another connection tool for this. It is built in.
  • Menu labels on the three-dot menu can look different from what you see here, so go by your screen.
  • Only preview the workflow trigger today. Building it comes later.
  • If the card already says Connected, someone may have linked a page before you, so ask your team.

πŸ” Plan my tour notes

You are a patient software trainer helping me make a one-page cheat sheet for the Facebook integration screen. My context: - [my business type] - [who on my team will use this] - [whether my card says Connect or Connected] Give me: - A short list of the spots I need to find - A one-line job for each spot - A checklist I can follow in my account Use plain words and keep it under 150 words. Finish by asking me: "Which spot on the screen am I least sure about?"

πŸ“Œ Explain it to my team

You are a clear writer helping me explain where Facebook leads will land in my software. My context: - [my business] - [my team's names or roles] - [what I want them to do when a lead arrives] Give me: - A three-sentence explanation for my team - Where to look in Contacts for a new lead - One thing to avoid clicking Write it at an 8th grade reading level. Finish by asking me: "What question will my team most likely ask me?"

You now know where everything lives. Search for Integrations in your own account and find that card before the next step.
